Paul E Jennings, M.D.
Dr Jennings is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with over 30 years of experience. A native of Galveston, he joined Hays County Sports Medicine in January of 2009. Prior to relocating to San Marcos he practiced in Houston and Alice. Dr Jennings provides a full-range of orthopedic and sports medicine services.
He received his Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. He then went on to receive his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. His orthopedic residency includes training at the Texas Medical Center, M.D. Andersen, Hermann, and Shriners hospitals in both Houston and Shreveport Louisiana. He also worked with the U.S. Olympic Team in Mobile, Alabama, helping our nation's finest athletes reach their fullest potentials.
Dr Jennings is a member of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Society of Sports Medicine, the American Medical Association, the Texas Orthopedic Association, and the Texas Medical Association. He is also a life-long member of the Shriner's. He received the American Medical Association's Physician's Recognition Award in both 1989 and 2000.
